for Port st.joe is in a position of strength is that first offer drawn upon a tradition of 160 years that people know and respect we have to keep getting better all the time but we do what we did when I was here it's just not good enough has to keep getting better I think the focus of San Jose has always been to help mold a well-rounded student to the future of our curriculum in education is still going to be focused on that so yes we're very excited to expand technology courses opportunities there's always been a strong focus on humanities the spiritual element of the students experience here with piece of it but what ultimately is changes in the I'll meet you should be really transformative a classroom experience how our students learn each day that should change quite a bit with this economic transition about the move to a post Regents world the information that's being delivered from the teachers is that they're excited to be creative in their classroom and provide some new skills and activities that maybe they felt that they couldn't afford houses to build off the good things that are going on in our classroom already every day to look for areas where we can be great that's what I want expect from us at st. Joe's all the time we have to keep moving in that direction some of the great projects that students have completed gear they breed of the profits they created their own businesses there. robots and competing at National competitions we've been doing a lot of us and we just want to expand upon it and really bring the students learning into more of a energetic and engaging type of experience internship program here for several years were the next level the career exploration program will include internships but it will also include things like resume writing networking event with a lump interviewing Lowe's workshops to hear from a lung who are out in the world doing really unique and interesting things to provide that balance for students knowing that technology is something they're going to have in their hands the rest of the day life but also realizing that they need to have that face-to-face personal public speaking component where they can interact with other human beings want to be writers coders engineer's. and we're hoping that the really developing our course offerings we're going to be able to provide students with the type of learning experiences to not only obtain those goals but also excel in those fields we all know that we have to push ourselves it's something that's worth everyone knows that the students here and even the teachers here have to work hard and have to be able to understand that this is Saint Joe's I'm so confident and going in college and then I'm going to be probably the only most of the kids in the class and not going to lie but just you know the preparation here they are the always babe I've been preparing me for since freshman year San Jose is going to get you. Fraternities to do whatever you want to do in life whether it is becoming a doctor or lawyer or going to that it's cool that you've been dreaming of San Jose is the place to go because they provide opportunities in the connections and they're really prepare you for everything that life has to offer everything that I've needed to prepare myself for the future I'm down here at San Jose
