Transfer Students

Students who are presently in grades 9, 10 or 11 at another high school and wish to transfer to St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute should complete the Online Application for Transfer to Grade 10, 11 or 12.

To be considered for transfer admission, a student must have earned at least a “B” average in the core subject areas of math, English, science and social studies. An official school transcript or copy of report cards must be submitted as official documentation of a student’s marks. To evaluate a student for admission as a transfer, final grades from the last three (3) years of study are required (i.e. 7th, 8th, and 9th for a student applying for admission to grade 10). If a student is applying mid-year, grades for that year may be current through the last marking period completed. St. Joe’s does not accept transfers into senior year, except for families moving into the WNY area.

Academic Record Request Form for Transfer Applicants

Once a completed application and all necessary transcripts or report cards are received, the Admissions Committee will review the application. If the applicant meets the basic requirements for transfer into St. Joe’s, the Admissions Office will contact the applicant and family to schedule an interview.
