Ways to Make a Planned Gift » Real Estate

Real Estate

You may own investment property that has appreciated over the years, a second home you no longer need, or a primary residence you plan to sell. Whatever the property, a planned gift of real estate can provide significant support to St. Joe’s and provide you with important tax benefits.

One arrangement is deeding your home to St. Joe’s, but retaining a life estate in the property. This allows you to continue living in your home without disturbance and provides St. Joe’s with a major gift that might not be feasible otherwise. After your lifetime, St. Joe’s would own the property in entirety and be able to use it to support the next generations of Marauders.

There are many ways to support St. Joe’s through a gift of real estate. For more information on planned giving, please contact Dan Warner '06, Vice President of Institutional Advancement, at 716-270-4115 or [email protected].
