Jazz Lab Band Camp
The SJCI Summer Jazz Lab Band Camp is available to boys entering 7 - 9 grade in fall 2024 who have 2 or more years of experience on:
- Alto, Tenor, Bari Sax
- Trumpet
- Trombone
- Piano
- Guitar
- Bass
- Drums
August 12 - 16, 2024
1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Max Capacity: 50 Campers
Cost: $150
Location: SJCI main campus
We will spend the week learning to play in a section with proper articulation and phrasing, learning improvisation techniques, listening to great music, and, best of all, getting to know current St. Joe's Jazz Lab members!
Keyboards, amps, and drums will be provided by SJCI, but we recommend that wind and brass players bring their own instruments.
