Innovation Center

Currently under renovation, our Innovation Center sits across the street from our main campus. While discussions continue about how to best utilize the approximately 7,400 square feet to further increase our capacity to offer science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) experiences, the objectives are clear:

  • provide students with technical and authentic learning experiences
  • furnish the space with the equipment and tools necessary for students to become creators and designers

Already, students on our FIRST Robotics team are working in sections of the building. The team — comprised of students, teachers, and mentors — has six weeks to design, code, and build a functioning robot ready to compete. Not only will the team have more room for the build of the robot, but for the first time they will be able to build a practice field with plans to host other teams from the region for friendly competition in the future.

In another large room of the building, we envision a makerspace where students can engage in independent learning as they develop skills in electronics, computer programming, digital media, and more. This hands-on environment will be designed to foster students’ curiosity, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Alumni and community support for the building acquisition and renovation has been incredible, and we look forward to continued progress as we follow our Lasallian mission to provide innovative and high-quality education for our young men.
