Working at St. Joe's gives Mr. Van Kerkhoven '08 the ability to see a group of boys grow into young adults over the course of four years and witness their awe and amazement that comes each day of that process.
"German gives us a set of cultural and linguistic lenses to problem solve in new ways, connect with others, and both evaluate and create our own identities. It gives us the opportunity to create new sounds that leave us exhausted – yet satisfied – to make, hear, and read, while showing us that meaning can be found all around if only you know the code to decipher it."
