Bio:

If you tell Dana Marciniak that a successful PR career in Buffalo isn’t possible, she’ll just smile—because she’s been proving otherwise for over 25 years.

Today, Dana serves as the Director of Communications and Marketing at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, where she leads strategic communications and marketing initiatives that support the school’s mission.

Before stepping into the education sector, Dana worked with some of Buffalo’s most recognizable brands. She spent several years at New Era Cap, the global lifestyle brand best known for its iconic sports headwear, where she led PR & Brand Communications. Before that, she served as Director of Communications & PR at Delaware North, where she led campaigns for more than 40 Parks & Resorts destinations worldwide. Earlier in her career, she spent time at Fisher-Price, where she managed brand communications and strategic partnerships.

Across all these experiences, Dana has done it all—product launches, PR, event management, internal communications, crisis communications, media relations, employee engagement and reputation management.

Outside of work, she’s passionate about raising awareness for autism, spending time with her two sons, Ian and Brady, and discovering Buffalo’s best new restaurants—always in search of the next great meal.
