LACROSSE NEWS
- Lacrosse maximized its spring break with a high-level road trip along the East Coast. The Marauders opened the journey at Gettysburg College, observing a collegiate matchup before taking the field for a practice session. The team then traveled to Richmond, Virginia, where they faced off against nationally respected Collegiate School and held a training session at the University of Richmond. The Marauders also squared off with Delaware powerhouse Salesianum School, competing against some of the top programs on the East Coast. The trip concluded with the team attending one of the premier Division III games of the season: Stevenson University vs. York College.
- In a dramatic finish befitting a championship, Mason Snyder '27 buried the game-winner 2:04 into overtime to lift St. Joe’s to a 5–4 victory over St. Francis in the Monsignor Martin Athletic Association title game at Canisius University’s Demske Stadium. The win secures the Marauders’ ninth consecutive league crown and marks the second straight year they’ve captured the title in extra time. With the win, the Marauders advance to the Catholic state semifinals.
- Senior goalkeeper Ryan Grimm, named the game’s MVP, anchored a gritty defensive effort in a physical, hard-fought contest.
- Freshman Elijah Freeman scored twice, while T.J. Paolucci '25 dominated the faceoff circle to help St. Joe’s maintain possession late.
