Announcements

  • Senior Drivers must return their parking passes to Mrs. Yarbrough by Wednesday, May 7. If your son’s car and license plate are registered with SJCI,  he can continue to use his designated parking lot even without the pass. There is a fee for any lost passes.

  • Seniors must empty and clean out their lockers by Wednesday, May 7th. Anything left behind will be donated or discarded.

  • St. Joe’s is collecting gently used maroon and gray SJ Polos in any size for our clothing closet.  Seniors and students who have outgrown their polos should clean out their dressers and closets and bring their polos to Room 208/AEC.

  • Personal Touch will no longer allow seniors to make purchases on a negative account balance.  Senior parents may request a refund of any remaining funds on their MySchoolBucks account or transfer them to a younger brother at St. Joe's.  All underclassmen account balances will be carried over to the fall semester. Please send your refund request to Mrs. Klapp at [email protected]

  • Parents and guardians of students attending the Freshman NYC Trip, mark your calendars for a mandatory meeting for all students going on the trip and their parent/guardian on Monday, May 12, at 7:00 PM in the Cullen Center for the Arts (Black Box).  Please email Mr. Quagliana at [email protected] with questions.

The Parents’ Guild needs many volunteers for upcoming events!

  • Baccalaureate Mass Reception on May 13: Two to four volunteers will help set up, work, and clean up the Baccalaureate Mass Reception on May 13. We kindly ask senior parents not to volunteer, as this evening should be something you attend with your sons. Interested volunteers should contact Lynne Hales at [email protected].

  • Ice Cream Sundae event at SJCI on May 15: Volunteers are needed to scoop ice cream and help make sundaes for students and faculty to celebrate Founder's Day! The best part of this event is getting to see your son! Five shifts are available:  9:00 to 11:00, 11:15 to 12:05, 12:00 to 12:35, 12:30 to 1:05 and 1:00 to 1:50.  Sign up for one or more by contacting Lynne Hales at [email protected].

  • Mother-Son Social 2026: We need several volunteers on the Mother-Son Social Committee for next year's event. Volunteers will receive thorough notes, assistance from previous organizers and a budget for the event. This event is at risk of not taking place unless we can find people to fill the open positions. Open positions include: Event Chair Organizer (1-2 people), Decorations/DJ/Photographers (1 person), Gifts (1 person), and Seating (1-2 People). Interested volunteers should contact Lynne Hales at [email protected]
