Buffalo State College's Communication Department invites high school juniors and seniors to "Communication Student for a Day" on Monday, March 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Buckham Hall. The day includes a student and alumni panel, class visits and a live taping of "Broadcasting Buffalo," a TV show produced with the Buffalo Broadcasters Association. Students must provide their own transportation.

We've added an additional Kairos Retreat opportunity. We will be at Cradle Beach in Angola, NY Monday, April 7th - Wednesday, April 9. Need-based scholarships are available upon request. The Counseling Center will host an NCAA Information Night on Wednesday, March 12 at 6:30pm in the Cullen Center for the Arts. The University at Buffalo NCAA compliance officer will be discussing what it takes to play college athletics at Division I,II and III levels, both athletically and academically. This event is for students and parents.

The NYS Unified Court System offers a High School Internship Program to juniors and seniors. It’s a three-week, in-person summer program scheduled from July 7 – July 24. The internship offers students exposure to different careers in the court system, work directly with judges, judicial chambers staff, and other dedicated professionals in the non-judicial ranks of the Unified Court System and have access to professional development programs. Attention families who utilize district buses: Transportation forms for the 2025-2026 school year can now be found on your district’s website.
- All forms are due to your district by Tuesday, April 1.
The Tuition Assistance Application for 2025-26 is now open. Families must apply HERE for tuition assistance each year. Tax documentation for 2024 is required as part of the application.

St. Joe’s students are invited to participate in the Buffalo Healthcare Exploration Program (BHE) at Roswell Park this summer. This three-week program offers an opportunity for high school students to explore high-tech careers in healthcare. The program meets three days a week, from July 28 to August 13, 2025. The program costs $400, but scholarships are available.
