We are excited to host a Lunar New Year Dumpling Event during lunch on Monday, January 27, in the cafeteria. This event is a special gift from the Chinese Program, funded by a grant Principal Spillman applied for. Best of all, it’s completely free!
Cardinal O’Hara is hosting an informational meeting on Wednesday, January 22, at 6:00 p.m. for students interested in participating in the Tianjin (China) Education Association for International Exchange Summer Camp 2025. The International Exchange Summer Camp will take place from July 21 to July 28 at a university in Tianjin, China, and will bring together 240 students from around the world. The cost of the trip will be approximately $2,500. Students who love Chinese culture and are interested in international travel are encouraged to attend to learn more about this unique opportunity. (This is not a St. Joe’s-sponsored trip).
The Swing Choir is hosting its annual Dessert Show next weekend! Join us for a night of acts prepared by the students with songs from musicals, movies, jazz, and more! At intermission, a variety of desserts will be served for all patrons to enjoy! The dates of the show are Friday at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. There is also a "Pay What You Can" Preview Night without desserts on Thursday at 7:00 p.m., which is a dress rehearsal for the show. Juniors interested in applying to military academies should consider attending the Boys’ State Program this summer. The American Legion sponsors this program.
