Alumni Share Insights and Advice at Community Time Panels

Our last Community Time featured four alumni panels moderated by "Inside the Ł" Student Philanthropy Club members. This was an opportunity for all students to hear from local alumni on various topics relevant to their current experience at St. Joe’s and college and career advice.

 

  • Freshmen heard from alumni who discussed how St. Joe's prepared them for college and careers. They reflected on their education at St. Joe’s, how it influenced their college and major choice, their career path, and how the St. Joe's experience continues to impact their lives.

The panelists included Ben Bryan '17, Jakai Harrison '15, Mike Pesarchick '17, and Ahmad Randall '17.

 

  • Sophomores heard from alumni who discussed the opportunities and challenges of balancing a rigorous academic workload and the demands of being a single or multi-sport athlete, both at St. Joe's and in college and beyond.

The panelists included Vinnie Christiano III ‘18, Justin Glover ‘22, Liam Hilbert ‘16, and Tom Ivancic ’06.

 

  • Juniors heard from alumni who discussed the importance of developing a financial plan for their future. Topics included savings, investments, budgeting, and financial planning tools to explore in high school, college, and early career.

The panelists included TJ Conway '18, Paul DiNicolantonio '19, and John Pastore '05.

 

  • Seniors heard from alums who discussed using digital tools like LinkedIn to build and establish their brand in college and utilizing various networking tools to secure internships and jobs.

The panelists included Doug Barszcz '89, Hank McWilliams '90, and Johnny Graves '03.
