Nolan Burch Memorial Endowment Award

On behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Burch and the Remember Nolan Project, I am pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the Nolan Burch Memorial Endowment Award. Mr. and Mrs. Burch shared their son Nolan's story with all of you earlier today at our John Paslaqua '10 Memorial Awareness Day presentation. Over the past few years, they have expressed sincere admiration for our students, especially the senior classes, and for the brotherhood that we share.

To demonstrate their interest in recognizing current seniors who possess strong leadership and decision-making traits, they established this endowment and will present an award of $1,000 to an SJCI senior in January. This award may be applied to a graduating senior's college expenses - tuition, books, etc.

The application deadline is Monday. December 16, 2024. Applications may be submitted to Mr. Dan Warner '06, Vice President of Institutional Advancement, at [email protected]. The scholarship committee will review all submitted applications and announce the student recipient in front of the entire SJCI student body during a Community Time event in late January.

Student applicants for the Nolan Burch Memorial Endowment Award are asked to respond to the writing prompts listed below. All seniors who submit their application by December 16, 2024, will be considered for this $1,000 award.

See Mr. Warner or me with any questions.
