Memoir In 1955, the Police Athletic Team sponsored the St. Joe's vs. Canisius football game at Civic Stadium in Buffalo. There were 28,000 fans in the stands, watching and waiting to see whether St. Joe's would finally end the seven-year losing streak against Canisius. Going into the game, Canisius was a heavy favorite but we were determined. It all came down to one final play…with one important block, victory was ours....and the crowd went wild. It is a Marauder Moment I will never forget.
