Academic Enrichment Center
The committed teachers of St. Joe's arrive early in the morning and stay late in the day - working with students to facilitate their academic success. But some of our students require additional support and discover it in the Academic Enrichment Center.
The AEC's mission is to work closely with students in order for them to gain new academic skills, boost self-confidence, and improve academic performance. This support is offered in a variety of ways:
- peer tutoring program available to all students
- special assistance to select freshmen throughout the day in a small group setting
- individualized support for our freshmen with special needs
Students who engage with the AEC find a positive, encouraging, student-centered atmosphere where learning is rewarding - leading to more confident and self-reliant young men.
