St. Joe's Ski Club

St. Joe’s Ski Club is all about hitting the slopes, having fun with friends and making the most of winter together.

Students from Sacred Heart Academy and Mount St. Mary's will be participating in the St. Joe's Ski Club this year and are welcome to use the same links for ordering ski passes and bus service.

To Join The Club

  • All Ski Club members must fill out a Google permission slip form to reserve a bus spot.

Join Ski Club

  • Please do this ASAP because spots are limited to 216.
  • Any student who submits their form after the first 216, will be placed on a waitlist in the order the Google form was received. 
  • Students who drop out before the first trip or do not make payment in full in time will have their spots replaced with students on the waitlist.
  • The final number of students in the club will determine the busing cost.
    • The cost of busing will most likely be between $250-$300 for all six round-trip bus tickets.   

NOTE: A spot on the bus and lift tickets/rentals are paid for separately.

Lift Tickets & Rentals

In addition, you will need to purchase lift tickets/rentals directly from Holiday Valley HERE.

  • On the site, you'll need to create a Holiday Valley login and password if you don't already have one. 
  • This site allows you to order a student select season pass for Friday nights, or any other lift ticket product they sell for your friends and family.
  • You can purchase equipment and helmet rentals for the season with this link.

CHAPERONE(S): There are a total of 8 adult Virtus-trained supervisors at each ski club date. It is a mix of St. Joe's, Sacred Heart and MSM employees/staff. 

Schedule

The Club will run for six (6)  Fridays during the winter months.

TENTATIVE first date - Friday, December 19 (weather permitting). Other dates incldue:

  • January 9
  • January 16
  • January  23
  • January 30
  • February 6

Transportation

We will provide bus transportation to and from Holiday Valley via four (4) full coach buses.

  • Our trips will depart St. Joe's around 3pm, pick up at Sacred Heart Academy around 3:20pm and arrive back around 11:15/11:30pm. 

We have two (2) drop off on the way home:

  1. First, at Snyder Place on Main Street
  2. Second, at St. Joe's.

Buy early! Lift ticket prices go up on December 1, 2025. Purchase before then to lock in the best rate.
