the teachers St Joseph St Joe's my friend st. Joe's through many conversations and experiences help me realize how important it is to be your own man satisfy you and what makes you feel like you are doing right by the world around you and the people around you mediocre was not an option and that mentality that work ethic that drive is something that I carry with me through college to med school residency your face with a challenge it was difficult and just kind of wanted to find a way to take the easy way out it was those values at St Joes weatherton classroom or on the basketball court that have been instilled in me that allow me to push through and succeed everyday when you walk Stars you were you knew that you were part of something knew you were part of a family part of the community that inclusive miss that the school had to offer every single day that you walked in here made you grow and made you grow is a man-made you grow from a boy to a man every little bit contributes to the community I think you start that when you're a student whatever you do you answer a question in class you plan A Team you sing at Mass whatever you're all just contributing to the greater 3. 1861 Society is evolution of that for analog you give small monthly gift to give a large monthly gift somewhere in between it's all going towards st. Rose it's all going towards the community is all going towards to help the kids are here because I want to be here I think we all would agree that we want back in some way but yeah life's just busy and you never find that one time to do it or you do and then you'll ask for a couple years to the next time you're in town and the next time you go to the lasallian but the 1861 Society is a great way to pick them out that you know possible for you and designated on a monthly basis and that way you don't have to think about it and you know I just an easy way to continue your support I forget a lot of stuff I'm going to forget to donate year in year out at the levels I want to unless I can just set it on everything else in my life is automatic so my donations can be made automatic to do the 1861 society as we know you know that's a large number of students that we have here that are on some type of financial aid that will only continue you if we continue as long to give an 1861 signees a great opportunity to do so easy but it also gives you the Fulfillment of knowing that you're giving back to somebody that really really needs it we've all benefited from San Jose to agree with you feel like Saint Joseph set you up for Success down the road it's kind of hot sauce to make sure keeps going and I when we were there there were people that were donating that helped us and you know now it's our time to get back there's a selfish reason I donate to st. Joe's I really like my friends from I want there to be more guys like that out in the world
