Math Team
Participation on the Math Team provides an innovative and entertaining way to engage high-performing students in mathematics. Students are encouraged to analyze and explore challenging problems that often require creative solutions, strengthening the participants critical thinking skills.
The St. Joe's math team regularly competes in two leagues - New York Math League and Atlantic-Pacific Math League. The participants are given 6 questions to answer, developed to challenge even the most gifted students. The preparation done as a team encourages problem-solving discussions in a supportive academic environment.
