These awards are based solely on merit, not financial need.

The primary factor in scholarship consideration is a student’s performance on the Scholarship and Entrance Exam, taken before acceptance. We also review transcripts from grades 6, 7 and 8 to ensure a well-rounded evaluation.

A student's scholarship award is renewed automatically each school year, provided his school work consistently demonstrates a superior level of achievement.

Applying for Financial Aid:

• Families can apply in the fall before their student’s enrollment year.
• If a family qualifies, notification will be included in the acceptance packet, providing a full financial picture upfront.
• Applications must be submitted each year to maintain eligibility; awards do not automatically renew.

How Financial Aid Works:

• St. Joe’s partners with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to evaluate financial need for the 2025-26 academic year.

Application Process:

1. Complete the online FACTS Grant & Aid application.
2. Submit the required supporting documents:
   • 2024 Federal tax forms (including all supporting schedules).
   • Documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, or TANF (if applicable).
3. Upload documents in .pdf or .jpeg format online.

Financial aid application

The Supplementary Work Program is designed to help students and families offset tuition expenses by offering an opportunity to work at St. Joe’s.

Our work study program is open to all interested students, regardless of financial need. Students enrolled in the program earn an hourly rate in direct tuition credits. Earned credits are applied to the tuition statement at the end of each month.

About the Program

• Typical duties include cleaning, simple maintenance chores and special event setup and takedown. Older students may have the opportunity to work within various offices.
• Hours can be earned during all 12 months of the year – including before and after school and during holidays, vacations, and summers.
• To participate, students must complete a simple application online.
• During the application process, participants build a schedule that works around their academic and extracurricular activities.

SUPPLEMENTARY WORK PROGRAM GRADES 10, 11 & 12

If two or more boys from the same family are students at St. Joe's at the same time, the second and third son is each allowed a $1,000 discount.

St. Joe's partners with FACTS for the collection of tuition. Tuition payments can be made in several different installments directly from a bank account or by credit card. Payments begin in June.
