During February break, eight St. Joe’s students traveled to Chicago for an immersion trip at the Br. David Darst Center, where they volunteered at local service sites and reflected on the root causes of poverty and inequality. Through hands-on service and meaningful discussions, students gained a deeper understanding of social injustice while building a stronger sense of solidarity with the communities they served.
