FAQ's - I cannot login to my email?
Username is: First Initial Last Name @sjci.com (ie. jsmith@sjci.com)
Password: Same as school password
- I cannot login to my email using AOL.
AOL blocks most NON-AOL email. you may get around this by using AOL as the internet dialer, then minimizing AOL when connected and then use Internet Explorer.
- How do I empty my trash?
If you check through your email and delete the messages that you no longer need, you will see that the deleted messages go to the deleted file folder. (See Deleted Items below.) You will have these deleted emails taking up space in the mail server until you empty the deleted items. You need to periodically empty them by clicking the Empty Deleted Items button (it looks like a recycle bin and it is to the right of the delete button). Please remember to do this as your deleted mail builds up. This action will help to keep our system running smoothly.
- How do I attach a file?
- Once in your mail, click New to start a new message.
- In the To: box, type in the name of the receiving person. Type the Subject and any note you need.
- Click the paperclip button. You will see the screen below.
- Click the Browse button and find the file. Click Open.
- Click the Attach button.
- Click Close.
- Click Send .
