The Annual Giving Fund

Over 70% of the students at St. Joe's receive some form of tuition support--academic scholarship or financial assistance--a testament to our school's mission to make a St. Joe's education available to deserving young men in Western New York. That assistance is possible, in large part, due to the legion of generous donors to the Annual Giving Fund.  Every dollar donated to the Annual Giving Fund goes entirely toward tuition support for our students. On behalf of those students and their families, thank you for your support.

Gifts to the Annual Giving Fund in memory or honor of a loved one are welcomed and will be recognized in the school's next Annual Report. For more information, or to make a gift or pledge to the Annual Giving Fund, please contact Scott Burns at 716.270.4115 or via e-mail at sburns@sjci.com.

Endowment Funds

Endowed funds are often established as a way to honor or memorialize a relative, friend, classmate or teacher in perpetuity.  These funds are invested under the auspices of the St. Joe's Board of Trustees, with earnings directed toward tuition assistance or programmatic support in keeping with the donor's wishes. Contact Scott Burns at 716.270.4115 or sburns@sjci.com for more information.

Lock Up Your Legacy

For only $50, you may choose to honor a loved one, pay tribute to an influential teacher or to simply have your family's name forever etched onto a distinctive brass plaque that will be permanently affixed atop one of the student lockers at the school. Your donation will also be recognized in next year's Annual Report. Click here to download the order form.

Matching Gifts

If you or your spouse are employees (or retirees) of a company that matches charitable donations, you can multiply the impact of your gift to St. Joe's, whether your gift was directed to the Annual Giving Fund, an endowment or the Lasallian Auction.  Click here to see if your employer matches charitable gifts to high schools. This link will also enable you to download the forms that you will need to generate the matching gift. For further information, contact Scott Burns at 716.270.4115 or your Human Resources Department.

Remembering St. Joe's in Your Will or Estate Plans

Charitable bequests are the most popular and easiest way to make a planned gift to any charitable organization. Simply stated, a bequest is a transfer-via a will or a living trust-of cash, securities, or tangible property to an individual or a charity. Bequests can be made for a specific amount, for a percentage of your estate, or even for all or a portion of what is left after you have made specific bequests to your family and others. For more information, click here or contact Scott Burns at 716.270.4115. If you have already included the school in your will, or set up another type of planned gift-and have not let the school know-please click here to be included in the John J. Barden Society.
