The student body of St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute is comprised of 765 young men, representing 115 different elementary schools within 20 school districts. While at St. Joe’s, students are required to take a challenging, well rounded curriculum that will prepare them for lives of accomplishment and service. The effectiveness of this preparation is evidenced by colleges awarding over $16.8 million in scholarships and grants to the Class of 2008. Individual students from the Class of 2008 are now continuing their education at many of the excellent regional college and universities in Western New York, as well as some of the nation’s premier institutions of higher learning: Boston College, Case Western Reserve University, Clarkson University, Colgate University, College of the Holy Cross, The College of William and Mary, Columbia University, Cornell University, Fordham University, Georgetown University, Johns Hopkins University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Michigan State University, New York University, Oberlin College, The Ohio State University, The Pennsylvania State University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Syracuse University, Union College, United States Air Force Academy, University of Michigan, University of Notre Dame, University of Rochester, University of Virginia and Villanova University.
