The student body of St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute is comprised of 730 young men, representing 115 different elementary schools within 20 school districts. While at St. Joe's, students are required to take a challenging, well rounded curriculum that will prepare them for lives of accomplishment and service. The effectiveness of this preparation is evidenced by colleges awarding nearly $24 million in scholarships and grants to the Class of 2011. Individual students from the Class of 2011 are now continuing their education at many of the excellent regional college and universities in Western New York, as well as some of the nation's premier institutions of higher learning: Boston College, Case Western Reserve University, Clarkson University, Colgate University, College of the Holy Cross, The College of William and Mary, Columbia University, Cornell University, Fordham University, Georgetown University, Johns Hopkins University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Michigan State University, New York University, Oberlin College, The Ohio State University, The Pennsylvania State University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Syracuse University, Union College, United States Air Force Academy, University of Michigan, University of Notre Dame, University of Rochester, University of Virginia and Villanova University.

Additionally, we encourage our young men to get involved! Stemming from the Lasallian philosophy of developing the "whole" student, our students are offered the opportunity to participate in numerous extracurricular activities, to volunteer for those less fortunate, to compete on the athletic fields of play, to develop their visual artistic talent and to perform in numerous musical groups. Getting involved is essential to the St. Joe's experience and it is one way our students exhibit their unique "spirit."
