ST. JOSEPH'S COLLEGIATE INSTITUTE PRESENTS OPEN HOUSESt. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute is pleased to announce that the annual OPEN HOUSE for prospective students and their families will take place on Sunday, September 28th from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Monday, September 29th from 5 – 7:30 p.m. This Open House will be held at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, located at 845 Kenmore Avenue in Kenmore. Parking is available behind the school, using the Hartford Avenue entrance off of Kenmore Road. View the school slideshow!
Open House is an excellent opportunity for prospective students and their families to tour the school, accompanied by current students and their parents. The tour will include an introduction to the new Robert T. Scott, AFSC Athletic Field Complex on campus, as well as an overview of the library, computer learning center, state-of-the-art computer graphics lab, science labs, music-MIDI labs, chapel and campus ministry center, choral room, intramural gym, and many other facilities. Families will be given an overview of the new Cullen Center for Excellence in Science, which will be ready for students August 2009. Prospective students will also have the opportunity 
to sign-up to be a “Marauder for a Day” and register for the entrance and scholarship examination.
The “Marauder for a Day” Program for 8th Graders commences on October 1 and will finish on November 20. Students interested in participating in the “Marauder for a Day” program should contact the St. Joe’s Admissions Office at 716-874-4953 to schedule a date.
The Entrance and Scholarship Examination will take place at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute on Saturday, November 22nd at 8:30 a.m. The cost for this examination is $20.00 per student and interested candidates should contact the Admissions Office at 716-874-4953 or via e-mail at pkennedy@sjci.com.
