Ms. Cavanaugh is a graduate of UB with a BFA in dance. She has performed both locally and nationally with the Zodique Dance Company, MusicalFare Theater, Artpark, Kavinoky Theater, Shakespeare in Delaware Park and the Tennessee Repertory Theater. Sunday, November 16th 6:30-8pm - Combining Dance Movement and Characterization with Marc Sacco
Mr Sacco is a very successful local actor. The workshop involved learning basic jazz steps often used in musical theater productions, while also teaching how to infuse character and intention of the text into the movement.
Sunday, November 23rd 5:30-7pm - Tap Workshop with Derek Roland
Mr. Roland lives and performs professionally in NYC. His workshop will build on skills to add the "rhythmic" side of tapping to the participants' education. Unfortunately, due to Mr.
Roland's busy schedule, this workshop had to be cancelled. Hopefully it will be rescheduled.
Sunday, December 14th 5-7pm - Hip Hop Workshop with Michael Walline. Michael is a local performer and award-winning choreographer. He is a member of Actors' Equity Association and has performed with National Touring Companies. This workshop involved working on Hip Hop and other current dance trends.
