Director of Communications
Reporting to the President/Principal, the Director of Communications is responsible for managing the communications strategy at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, a Catholic Lasallian, college-preparatory school for young men. Primary responsibilities include media relations, design of marketing materials, coordination of marketing plan, management of the school website, and continuation of branding and crisis communication strategies. The Director of Communications is a 12-month full-time position. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or similar subject area, minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field of communications, and strong written and verbal skills. Facility with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign and Photoshop is required; knowledge of website management is a plus.
